I thought the water was going faster (typically, the two goes through a bottle in 3 days and now with three, it’s disappearing in 1 day) due to having a new bun but I now think one bun is excessively drinking water and eventually opens the flood gate in some random spot. I don’t believe the normal peeing is this much. This bun is very good with peeing in his litter box normally. If it matters, this is also the same bun which I found the insect or whatever lodged in him. He’s done this before but only once or twice in the 2+ years I’ve had him but now I’ve seen it 3 times in a couple days. Again, all buns are going in for a checkup on Sat. Any advice till then?

Not really – I think you need to mention the excessive drinking to the vet though – excessive drinking can be an issue. The vet may want to do bloodwork to check for kidney functions.

I would just mention both to the vet, and if you can try to quantify how much water they are going through each or take a video of the excessive drinking-that might help your vet get an idea of what your seeing.
