I came across an aesthetically pleasing, excellent pen roof idea!  Here are pictures.  I prefer it when my home looks good and is functional.  I never did achieve both with pen tops, ’till now!  It’s so easy.  You just get extra deep wire closet shelving cut and zip tie them together.  Home Depot cut them for free.  The pens now take mere minutes to disassemble completely for cleaning.

This is a common question, to which I finally have an answer!  Forgive the enthusiasm, they used to really bother me – functional, but ugly.  No more!

Not sure why they’re upside down.  Oh well, I guess you can’t have everything.

That’s actually an excellent idea! Will definetely keep this in mind for if my bunnies ever manage to escape again.

I now manage to keep them inside by having the part where they jump out covered with a cute fleece blanket tied to the pen with some ribbon I added (also pretty and functional at the same time, and fun to swap around between seasons).

Your idea sounds lovely too! I especially like the idea of changing it for holidays. I need something more secure though. Otherwise Daisy would escape and eat books. Cincinnati would just eat the blanket.
