Would it be okay for the buns if I put the litter box in an enclosed piece of furniture with a hop in entrance? I’m trying to contain the hay that they kick out of their box. Does anyone know if they prefer an enclosed space or an open space. I know they like their box in corners….

Most rabbits don’t like to go inside any enclosures that only have one entrance, since it makes them feel trapped. They prefer to have an entrance and an exit. You could turn a cardboard box upside down, and cut out openings on each end, then place the litter box inside of it. The kicked out hay would likely stay inside the cardboard box, and it would be easy to dump the hay out of it, either to discard it or to put it back in the litter box.

That’s a great suggestion! Thank you!
