OMG!  I was on the phone and Edson just flopped over!  He has never done this before.  I’m not kidding it scared me to death as I really thought he was dead!  He only flopped for a few seconds and then got up.  Why would he only flop for such a short time?  Now I feel like I have forgotten what everyone has said about this as it never applied to me!

oh thats funny!  i know what you mean about having heard all about it, but still being shocked when you see it for the first time.  i think since my first 2 buns passed before they were 5yrs old , so for 2yrs i’ve thought baby was a gonner everytime i’d see her flopped over in her room.  i’d just freeze in terror until i saw signs of life… twitching nose or breathing tum.  since i have found this site & a great vet i feel so much more relaxed about her.

baby will stick a flop for a while but pinky usually adjusts back relatively quickly.  i wouldn’t worry bout the time length.  now that he has experienced his first public flop i’m sure there’s more to come!  yay edson!!!

lol! YAY! That’s funny! The first time Jackie flopped it scared me so much! I thought she had a stroke or something! She too only flops a few seconds/minutes and gets up! It’s funny because her owner has a really small litter box for her so when she trys to flop she ends up with half of her outside of the litterbox!

Piccolino flopped when I was bringing him home from the pet store. He was sitting on my friends lap in a box and suddenly just threw his tiny 8 week old body down. It surprised us but we thought it was the cutest thing!

                                      Flop’s are awesome!

I had a cat that was a major flopper – she would just fall right on over when she was happy! So, the first time I saw my bunny flop – I instantly knew what it was. I laughed my booty off.

Haven’t you every flopped on to your bed? It’s totally fun.
