We have finished Pumpkin’s new condo! Here are some pictures of the process and finished product!
Jared placed the pieces together on the floor to start hooking them together with zip ties.

Pumpkin trying to figure out what’s going on

Jared working on the shelf on the inside of the condo

I had to crawl inside too to finish the shelf

A picture of the shelf from the inside. We put down cardboard for stability and then we untied some of the knots on the fleece blanket and re-tied them around the grids to hold them in place. Will be a pain in the butt to take out and clean, but we were improving with what we had!

A couple of shots of the completed condo. Right now we are using chip clip magnets to keep the door closed. We’ll see how it works after tonight!

So I just can’t get over this!! I mentioned in the November Chat that we saw our first flop earlier today. Pumpkin came out into the living room after all the Thanksgiving company was and rolled over twice and flopped out. It was amazing! Well right after we got the condo set up, she went in, ate some hay, then rolled over on her blanket and flopped out again! Twice in one day!! Apparently she loves it and feels safe. She’s a totally different girl than the sweet timid bunny we brought home a month and a half ago!

Pumpkin guarding her castle!

She keeps running down the hallway to check if any bedroom doors are open. Poor girl doesn’t know where she should be since she’s now lived in two different bedrooms in the house. I think she’s going to be very happy living in the living room. I’m hoping having her litter box right there will help with her potty issues lately. And now she has more room while we are at work and sleeping.

It looks great! Pumpkin sure looks happy
When we move I’m going to make Binks a condo too, I think he will love it.
LLH — looks good! One little suggestion…..now that its put together, you might want to go over it and put zip ties criss-crossed one over the other everywhere that 4 NIC grids meet (except for the door hinge), even at the corners. It will make the condo super sturdy.
Thank you.
JR–good idea…i’ve already found myself securing certain areas better!
Looks awesome LLH! Pumpkin seems to like it, I love the flop picture! Oh and the owl fleece is so adorable!
Awesome palace for Pumpkin!
Everything is just too cute. ![]()
Another flop today! I’m in bunnymommy heaven!
Where did you buy the NIC cube?? Im having the hardest time finding that! lol
It looks amazing! Wait till the Binkies begin…your hearts going to melt!
BunLife-we had to order them online. No one seems to keep them in the store. We got ours at Bed Bath and Beyond but you can order them through Home Depot, Amazon, and Wal-mart….and probably other places but that’s where we price compared!
Thank you so much! Condo looks fabulous btw
What a cute little area for Pumpkin ![]()
So……….we took the whole thing apart and made it bigger! haha…new pictures! We don’t have a lot of living room left!!

Instead of a two grid shelf, there’s four grids total and she can run around under them

View from the top

I love the size of it! That will also give you more room — you could even lay down in there now!
Once the bunnies get in, they keep taking more and more space, watch out!
I love Pumpkin’s area, it looks very roomy and cozy. Spoiled bunny. ![]()
Insanely spoiled! Thanks guys…she seems very happy!
I love her new condo, more specious to roam around, dart, bink and go nuts! Pumkin is one lucky bun bun! ![]()
How many cubes did you buy for pumpkins condo?
That’s beyond spoiled lol, that’s like a rich guy giving his daughter only the best on her sweet 16 spoiled
I’m sure LLH will answer eventually, but I’ll give an answer for mine I made a 3 level 4×2 square (each square in 14 in by 14 in) and it took 4 boxes of 20 to make it, always over buy the amount you think you will need, you can always take back the ones you didn’t use

Thanks Robert how big is your condo?
56×28 inches 42 inches tall with 3 levels
Pumpkins is about six feet by four feet…we used three boxes I think but bought four. We’ve used the extras to make condos when we travel.
How many come in a box I think what I’ve seen its 6 cubes in a box, does that sound right?
I think it depends on the brand, but ours were four full cubes per box.
