Pookie my little dwarf has been holding one ear down most of the evening. She was fine yesterday and this morning but when she came out to play about 45min ago my husband noticed it. She shakes her head every once in awhile. Her left ear is up like normal and then the right ear is down.

We looked in both her ears and didnt see anything. I thought maybe she had an itch so I massaged the inside of her ears to see if that would help but it didnt.

All my buns are inside buns and we have never had this issue. The only thing I can think of is that their water bottle is at her ear level. Cooper will lean over her to get to the water bottle. I am wondering if some water dripped in her ear?

        I feel so bad

When you push her ear back up, is it limp and falls back down, or is she capable of keeping it up straight?

She can hold that ear up on her own. She would put it up and then back down, up and down. But it stayed down longer than up and everytime before she stood the ear back up she would shake her head.

We had her out a few hours last nite and as the nite went on she would hold it down less and less but she is still doing it. She isnt attempting to scratch it. Just shakes her head a couple of times.

This morning she is still doing the same thing.

She is shedding something horrible so every time I can catch her Im pulling out hair because she hates the brush.

Im hoping something got in there and was just itchy?

Do you see any flakes? If something did get in her ear and it’s something that doesn’t dissolve or dry up right away, then by tomorrow if she’s still the same way, I would ask a vet about this.
