My bunny Sawyer has been scratching his head and neck area more frequently and I’m thinking it might be an ear infection? I’ve looked up remedies and I saw oil is very helpful, so I was thinking of putting olive oil in his ears but say he doesn’t have an ear infection at all. Would the oil affect him negatively since there nothing to treat? I hope I worded this to where it makes sense lol.

Oil doesn’t really do anything. It just makes a mess, IMO. If you believe it is ear mites, then you can treat with Revolution or Ivermectin. You can get this from a vet.
