One of my rabbits moults very different to my other two and gets large bald areas before growing the new fur. I’ve noticed that her current bald spot is very dry. Is this a problem? If so, is there anything I should be doing to help her?

If it’s just dry skin you can put bag balm on it or diaper rash crime or plain Vaseline. Some bunnies do molt in patches.

If bald spots are caused by mites you tend to see dandruff and there are white-yellowish crusts very close to the skin, you might not see them but you can feel them with your fingertips.

A bit of dry skin is common during molting.
