Does anyone have any advice on water bottles. I use the 32 oz Lixit bottle that I bought at Petsmart which I like because it holds a lot of water and I can see the water levels but once it is half empty, it drips all over. Anyone have any luck with another brand?

well only thing I can say is with mine I had to tilt them  that straight up n down didn’t work caused dripping. so I used a string to tie them where they wouldn’t drip leaning them away from the cage. now I just use bowls

I have the same problems with drippy bottles. Buddy won’t drink from a bowl. He thinks bowls are toys and dumps them.

I bought several “no drip” bottles that were pretty expensive, but they still dripped.

Right now I’m using a glass bottle that came from a local pet shop. It works for a few days with few drips, but then will just drain out. I’ve tried every brand now in the pet shop. Does anyone have good luck with a bottle brand? or… How can I switch Buddy to a bowl?

water bottles, regardless of how much they hold, should be emptied and refilled daily. if you started doing this you would most likely not get down to the halfway point where it begins to drip… problem solved. ;o)

Yeah, and at least with the Lixit bottles (I have that one too) you have to fill it allll the way to the top, with almost no air space in it at all. Then make sure you screw the lid on really tight. Mine doesn’t leak at all, even half full if I make sure to do it this way!
