Jerz just mentioned something in the “Too Much Willow” thread that had me wondering…

BB.com used to offer dried willow leaf treats…whole leaves dried right on the stem…my bunnies swooned for them! ^_^

Will those ever be available again? Or does someone know where I could find some? Now that treats for my rabbits have graduated from -originally…when I was stupid- yogurt drops to too many carrots to too much fruit, and now I’d like to get my bunnies off cookie treats and barley biscuits (even though they are healthy ones.)

Still months to go until I see fresh greens growing in my yard. By then, the dandelions will have reappeared! Woot! ^_^

Last Christmas my shelter sold “Bunny Potato Chips” dried leaves on the branches! Apple and Maple maybe?
Kay “swooned” over them. Winston – not so much.

You could dry your own – but, I guess you don’t have a lot of willow trees in Alaska!

Well actually I think we do…but I am not at all confident of my tree identification skills and would hate to mix up a willow with a birch with an aspen. 0_o And I don’t know the first thing about drying vegetation properly so that it doesn’t mold or turn to dust. (Just check my fridge…or rather…don’t…) >.<

We will actually be selling those again this season, but they won’t be ready until the end of May most likely.

Thanks BB! I shall stock up when they arrive then. ^_^
