I want to share something that happened yesterday with Shmoo. He has been having GI problems because of molting so every we have a long sessions of brushing and belly massages. He is a timid bunny and never trusts me enough to be picked up but he sure does enjoy being petted. He will flop to the side, completely stretch out and put his head to the ground as he relaxes. Lately it is almost looking like he falls asleep while I massage his belly. But then yesterday he tilted his head back slightly, closed his eyes shut and started dreaming as his whiskers started “shaking”.
