So at the grocery store the other day, they had these really nice doormats on clearance; $3.80!   They were advertised as “natural dragon grass doormats”.  I bought one, I figured I could use it for Zeus, or if not, just use it as a doormat.  At that price I had to have one! .

Does anyone know about dragon grass?  Is it safe for Zeus to nibble?  I’m assuming since it’s “natural”, it’s ok… but I’m not 100% sure on that assumption.  It doesn’t smell like its been treated, theres no rubber or anything on it, it looks exactly like this:

In fact, that may even be the mat I bought, it’s the same brand.  Even in that ad, it says “100% natural grass fiber”.

So what’d you guys think?  Safe for Zeus, or no?

Good to know someone else is using them, thanks for the link!

Anyone else want to weigh in on these mats?

Leith Petwerks sold a dragon grass mat. Here’s the link: http://www.leithpetwerks.com/prodpage.cfm?prod_code=MS900

              Looks similar.
