i am not happy with this she has never dumped animals on me before especially not rabbits….she breeds hers and sells them off i have gotten a few little ones from her in the past but only when i asked for them…she doesnt seem to want to talk to me right now….well i gotta get them set up for now until i can figure something out….well on the bright side they dont look unhealthy or anything yet……i am worried about the little one though he seems very young.

this is awful. how could she do that to you when you already have so many? does she think you won’t notice a couple more?! well, i guess you could always look into rehoming them after they’re altered if you just don’t have the space.

That is terrible! Hopefully it is not as cold in Florida as it is here right now because it is not good for babies to be out in the snow.

How old do the babies look? Are they old enough to be away from their mother? Hopefully she will tell you so that you know if they need to have any special food or diets…

I’m sorry that happened, it doesn’t sound like a very good friend.

Poor little one with bites. Goodness.  Best wishes for your new ones. More mouths to feed.

Oh no, I hope you have separated them – I worry that bite marks can become abscesses so this is not good.

Sorry to hear that. And sorry you have to deal with this! Wonder where the bites came from…. Do you think your friend was unable to afford vet care? This is so sad!

Oh no, sorry you lost your bun girl too! What a time you’re having. Any surgery is always risky and spays a lot more intrusive than neuters. Was the vet very experience in rabbit surgeries?

your right you dont want to know what my enemies would do. but anyway this girl who dropped off the bunnies is only like 13 so its probly a little understandable that she doesnt know not to do this. i have decided to keep the little bunny after all.

i’m so sorry to hear you lost your bun in surgery. that is very upsetting. if you have doubts about the competency of your vet, i would not hesitate to look for another one. but even with the best vet, surgeries have risks, spays especially which are invasive. there may have been something wrong with the bunny that would not have shown up in tests. i’m also sorry to hear about the little baby that died. did it seem like it was too young to be away from it’s mother? how is the other bun doing? i’d suggest getting that one in to a vet (maybe not the same one) for a check-up to make sure he/she is healthy.

i have finally brought in all of the bunnies but they are currently staying in emergency cages (hurricane, tornado, freeze warning, and thunderstorm cages) until they are fixed and the huge cage is finished.all of them have their own but they are the annoying solid bottom ones that you have to clean out everyday (would rather vaccume floor).

do they have litterboxes in their cages? you might try that instead of putting litter in the bottom of the cage.

I don’t care who it was friend or not, if she or her father is killing bunnies… i would do something about it even if means bringing in authorities….. those bunnies don’t deserve the life she is providing for them. I am Sorry you had to deal with the deaths yourself. What a horrible situation.

The only trouble is that they don’t really teach the emotional/psychological side of rabbits as they use decades old ideals of rabbits being stupid livestock that can live in small cages happily.

When I was a child my bro who was 10 years older than me would have to pitch in. He hated digging up the poo and putitng it in Mom’s flower garden.  It was hard for me to do all that.  I did some of it but got tired. My br would get so upset.  lol

Mom said I loved those rabbits and took good care of them.  But as children we need help sometimes.

The young girl I got Ruby from is very caring with her bunnies.  She would rather tend to them than do homeschool work and chores.  Can’t blame her.  The buns are more fun that all that other nonsense hehe.
