We are upgrading to a dog crate for bunny. It does come with a tray liner, but what can I put on top of that tray to keep the flooring soft for bunny?  I’ve tried fleece in his current cage and although I know it’s soft, I find it gets very messy, hay sticks to it, etc.  I’d like to find something that’s easy to clean?

Also, my husband is building a second level, what can I put on that wood to keep it soft for bunny?

I just want to make sure I’m providing plenty of soft, non-slippery surfaces.

Kinda depends on what you feel is easiest to clean. I’d use a small rug, or mat with very short carpet. Something you can shake of if need be.

Fleece can be shaken off and then washed as well.

Willow is weird and often likes the extremes i notice-middle of the tiled kitchen is a great sleeping place. Other times she wants to be on my bed.

Whats your bunny find cozy? I’d go with that, basically everything hay sticks to unless you use a hard surface that can be swept.
