        i was wondering if weed killer that you put on the lawn spreads into areas you didn’t put it on. does any one know?

          It would be important to know how closely to your rabbit pens your dad applied the weed killer and which brand.

            Also things like wind if it was windy or rain as well could cause it to spread. So it definitely could spread.

              i have not yet found out what brand it was. i will have to wait till my dad is done with work.

                I agree with Sarita. Once the weeds are dead, they can blow in the wind with the weed killer still on them. The chemical might also be airborne. Sometimes they say on the package if it’s safe around animals.

                  There is a big difference between being safe around animals- dogs using the yard to potty- and rabbits ingesting the grass.  No weed killer is meant to be ingested.

                  Weed killer can typically spread thru being airborn or thru water if it rains and the water runs off to another area.

                    True, Katnip. It’s probably like spraying in the bathroom to kill germs vs. spraying your toothbrush and then using it. Don’t ingest anything that isn’t acceptable food.
