Does this mean anything . . . or not?

Lately Winston has been doing something I use to never seen him do – yawning! I realize this is not unusual, but I have to wonder.

Kay does these big dramatic combo yoga stretches and yawns. Until last week I was lucky to see a tiny Winston yawn.

Now he is doing big stretches and big yawns – all the time!

Could it be that he is more relaxed and not hiding it?     Or is he just tired?  

 

But, wait, there is more: Yesterday I saw him laying in Lamb-chop pose (on tummy with back feet out to side), under the chair with Kay – their favorite spot – when Winston rolled on his back, gave a little wiggle and back to Lamb-chop.

Could this have been a pseudo flop?    Or did he just have an itch? 

 

What do y’all think?

 

BTW- I have also noticed Winston’s ears really perk up when a Blues song comes on the radio –    my little soul bun!

Hehe – I vote it was an attempt flop. Think the yawning would be likely he’s catching more Z’s during the day…so likely he’s just more relaxed! Do you have the heat cranked up there in Colorado?

Don’t worry about the yawning. Since it is cold out, his metabolism could just be slowing down a bit so he’s a little more sluggish than normal. Oh, and it could have been an itch or he wanted to flop but was too lazy to stand up to do it.

Yeah Coco does the whole “Up Dog Pose, Stretch and Y-A-W-N” thing.

We find it hysterical.

We keep the house just at 20 C, so not too hot, but not super cold either.

It is just so funny to see him yawing a bunch now. I sure hope he is becoming more and more relaxed.
I have never seen him do a flop – I am inclined to hope it was a “I want to flop but, am too lazy to stand up to do it”. He, he, he!

We keep the house between 60 & 68 Fahrenheit (15 to 20 Celsius). I need a sweater most of the time – which is okay, since it is winter – I reckon the buns have fur coats and seem comfy.

Oh I just love those big stretches and yawns.   So hard to get a pic of though cause you can’t predict when they are going to get up and do the yawn stretch thing.

Okay, now I am sure he is becoming more relaxed and happy!
Last night I got tugs on my pants. J got a big periscope up and Winston’s paws on his leg, “Hey, what are you doing up there? Come down and play.”

Sophie has always yawned. she does the labchop, stretch, labchop, yawn though. lol. she’s too lazy to get in too many positions. it’s quite funny to watch actually, when we’re laying on the couch winding down for the night and so is she!
