My bunny is 8 weeks old and I have had him for 5 days, he so far appears a very happy house rabbit and is learning to not mind me picking him up. Once I do pick him up and bring him on the sofa with me he seems to relax on me for ages after sniffing about and likes being petted but this seems too good to be true? Am I reading him right?

Sounds like he is comfortable in his new home. Baby bunnies tend to be a lot easier to handle and cuddly. This will probably change as he reaches adolescents. So don’t be alarmed…. It’s very normal for bunnies.

Thank you! Off topic but I keep reading contradictory information online. Should you neuter boy rabbits?

Daisydumplings, if you have more than one male rabbit and they are to live together, they must be neutered. If not, they will fight and try to bite off each others’ genitals and they might very well kill each other.

If you have a single male bun, neutering is done to prevent inconvenient behavior connected to sex drive. Not all single male buns display such behaviors, and for them, neutering isn’t a must.

How can something so cute be so evil??
