        Hi!
So I just got a bunny (!!!) approximately 4 days ago. She seems to have settled in super well and is eating, drinking, etc. She’s fairly social and has already taken to following me around every so often. Sometimes she’ll come up to me and nudge me a little (I’m assuming she’s asking for pets?) so I’ll pet her. But, one of two things happens… Either she’ll hop off and go play somewhere else when I start to let her, or she’ll sit beside me, turn into a bunny meatloaf/flop (she flopped right beside me last night!) and sit there for a while. I think she enjoys being pet? But I never know… the flop is a good sign right? Also I’m pretty sure she “teeth purrs” when I’m petting her (sometimes). That being said, she usually sits there for a couple of minutes and then decides she’s done and wants to go play again. Is she just tolerating me for a little or does she actually enjoy being pet??

Congratulations on getting a bunny! I would say she enjoys being pet. You’re lucky that she’ll do that. One of my bunnies totally ignores me unless I have food.

Phew! That’s a relief. I just didn’t want to be doing something wrong ? I think I have new bunny mom syndrome or something…. I’m literally stressing over everything.
Side note: right now she’s actually going between eating hay and then come over and saying hi, laying down for a bit and then going back to her hay rack. She’s so cute… I’m just worried that something will happen to her!!! Oh well.
