My 6 month old boy bunny got fixed a week ago. He is being more disstrucktive now than he has ever been. He gets mad when we put him in his cage for the night and when we leave the house. He dumps his litter box and distroys his cage. He is trying to chew on things he has never tried to chew and we are working with the NO thing and he is not responding to it anymore. He goes right back at it and this goes on for hours. He has toys and a bunny cottage to play in and a basket to chew on and many many more.

Give him time to let his hormones adjust – it takes about a month after surgery for their bodies to even out. In the meantime, bunny proof and keep with trying to teach him what is his to chew on. Bunny proofing helps loads though lol had to do it with my female cause she decided to destroy every thing in sight for a while.

He’s probably displaying a bit of discomfort. It will take time to heal. And like Stickerbunny mentioned it will take time for his hormones to die down. He’s been through alot and he’s also still has his hormones. I’d give him something he can destroy — like a phone book. Hang in there.
