Hi, weird question, do rabbits snore?  Last night I was watching my rabbit as she went to sleep, and every time she puts her head down, she makes a grunting noise, that kind of sounds like snoring, and then she lifts her head up. Overall, she looks fine, but my research has said it can be concerning, and some say don’t worry. Should I be worried about this?  It only happens in the night when she is falling asleep.

Bun Jovi snores! At first I was very alarmed by it because it almost sounded like wheezing but then I learned bunnies can and do snore.  He doesn’t do it when he’s active, only when sleeping in a particular position.

One of mine snores too. It also sounds like wheezing and kind of squeaky. For a while I thought I had a mouse in my wall until I connected the dots. 😆
