My first rabbit, Mickey, used to “chin” everything but I’ve hardly seen Archie chin anything.  He does lick things sometimes.  He loves to lick our saude recliners and couches.  And he usually goes up to me and licks my cargo pants like crazy (or maybe he likes to tickle me).  He’s not to crazy over jeans though, he usually digs at my husbands jeans.  He does have scent glands because I could feel the difference and sometimes a little wetness under his chin.

Yeah, some do, some don’t. Or they may do it less so it’s not noticeable. Mine will only chin when things get moved around and it appears to be “new” to them.

Felony chins everything. He has even chinned my nose. My favorite thing is when he goes into the bathroom and try to chin the bottom of the shower curtain. He looks like he just doesn’t understand why the curtain won’t hold still for him to chin. Cracks me up.

My recently spayed bun, Olivia, is a CRAZY chinner. She spends her whole out of cage time chinning absolutely everything in the living room. She will even go back and re-chin things two or three times. If there is a blanket or sweater all bunched up she will try to chin every crease and lump. She’s totally obsessive about it. My other two buns will chin a few things but not like she does.

My Bunny chins things on his own sometimes, but mainly he chins things that I hand him. Like a toy, a corrot, anything really. Either he will eat it, throw it, or chin it! I often point my finger at him because I am used to having cats. Seems cats cannot resist interest in a pointed finger. They will always poke their nose out to it. So I do that to my bunny and he just rubs his chin on it lol. It still suprises me for some reason.

I finally saw Archie chin today (I might have seen him do it before but can’t remember).  I gave him his carrot rattle toy and he chined it.    Maybe he’s not materialistic or he likes to share things

Gosh Archie is making me out to be a liar now   Soon as I say I haven’t seen him chin anything, he starts chining!  He hopped onto our couch and walked onto our end table and started chinning this sand castle figurine we have; then today I was gone most of the day and I came back and put my hand in the cage and he chinned my fingers.
