I have two rabbits, a 2 month old and a 1 year old. I have a dog crate for the one year old and it’s only one level. I was wondering if I could actually divide the crate so there are two levels, but no ramp and house both until the little one is bigger? They seem to get a long well and groom each other. My hope is that they can live together and it can be a multi-level cage, but only time will tell. Does this make sense? I just want to keep them separate until they can at least eat the same food and peanut is neutered, etc.

Haha I found this picture on google and I’m hoping it would look something like the picture but without a ramp.

It does make sense. But rabbits do need to be able to fully stand up. How tall is the crate and what size are the rabbits?

It’s about the size of the one in the picture, I believe the height is 30-33 inches. They should both be able to stand..the one on top is a baby. It’s only a temporary fix until the younger one is older.
