The poop wars have ended! Atleast we had a one night cease fire.  Turns out little Miss Tucker needs to have the gigantuan bathroom in her apartment.  So..back it went.  Poops are all nicely back in the litter pan in nice little mounds as they should be   And it’s not just that this pan blocks the areas where she used to poop..oh no..they used to be ALLLL over the cage.  Now they’re all..well almost all in her litter box!  YAY!!  And luckily this means that we’re still able to have  one of the hay baskets outside the litter box..which is good because she scatters it every night now and it’s the good hay so I’d rather that not all get wasted into litter hay.  This way after she scatters it she can forage around.

Which btw..I finally found out why she has been dumping her hay.  I got her the oxbow botanical and it has all the dried herbs in it…but of course those sink to the bottom.  She’s flipping the hay bowl because then she can get to the yummy herbs  

So it looks like I am finally learning how to appease her!  Just in time for us to be getting a second bun and start all over learning his likes and dislikes! Oh please let him not need a huge litter box like her..that was the bottom of her old cage..I don’t have another box that big! LOL  Hopefully being a boy bun he’ll realize that huge bathrooms are overrated and not need the luxury spa bath as Tucker does!

I cannot wait either!!

We’re actually picking him up at night on our way back down from NJ.  Kim from the shelter is going to take him home with her for the weekend since we won’t get there until well after the shelter closes on Monday.  We’re going to go there at….6:30am  (yikes!) on Saturday AM to do the paperwork and then Kim will take him home until Monday so that he doesn’t have to get carted up to NJ with us.  That wouldn’t be much fun for the poor bun.  It’s going to be a heck of a trip getting him because of all the time configurations but I know it’ll be worth it!! My poor mom and kids are being forced along on this journy when they thought it was just an easy trip up and down from NJ!!
