Wow, how does he get on your desk? That is one curious, non height fearing bunny! LOL. I had several techniques. miaeihs advice may seem simplistic, but is actually right on. I found that by blocking access for a month or so, my bunny would lose interest and just forget about the access he had at one time. This also depends on what you are trying to block. For things that they liked to jump ONto, blocking helped them permanantly forget about it. But for other things that are within their direct vision to go INTO, I found I needed to permanantly find a way to block my bunny off.
I was successful in teaching my bunnies to get off of the living room couch (as Jack would pee or chew on it) with repetitive scooting him off the moment he jumped on there, or stopping him and redirecting his interest the moment he looked like he was going to jump up —(But it takes real commitment to strict supervision and lots of patience). But the blocking access worked well in the bunny room where there is a couch. I don’t worry about Vivian, but Jack could sometimes get up there and pee. I tried different things, but since I could supervise in there, all the time the best thing was piling up the couch with pillows. I did this for a month. I slowly removed pillows over time so it didn’t look so different and strike up his curiosity to try again.
I did catch Vivian though hiding and playing within the pillows one time. But I don’t have to worry about her marking or chewing up on the couch. However, one romp in pillows was enough for her — too cumbersome, and she was done.
