I think most (all?) rabbit vets can do a sani-shave. Do you ahve a rabbit-savvy vet you go to, have you asked them?

What seems to be the issue?

You can also try and contact one of your local rabbit rescues.  The closest one to your zipcode is in Lusby, MD (about 17 miles away)   “Bunny Magic Rescue and Wildlife Rehab”  http://www.bunnymagic.org.   I would think they may have a decent reference for a rabbit-savy vet.

Also, you can check out the HRS list of vets for Maryland and see if any are convenient for you. http://www.rabbitsinthehouse.org/vets.html

Since you don’t currently have a rabbit-savvy vet, I always say it’s better BEFORE an emergency to get one. So hopefully some the above links will help you.

Oh, and yes, do let us know what’s going on.  If it’s a chronic thing then that is another good reason to find a rabbit-savvy vet.
