So, we have had Kay & Winston living with us for almost a month now. I have notice their diner time habits are evolving.

At first they would grab a piece of salad and hide while they ate it. Then, they started to hang out around the plate and just eat. Now it’s Diner Time = Play Time!

First they pick out their favorites. Then they run around a little, poop   , maybe have a nibble of hay – then back to the salad.

They come over to see what J and I are doing. Back to the salad. Then more running around!

Last night Kay even started to do some awesome “E-Break” turns – you know, front end stops while back end slides around, in front of the plate – she would then grab a piece of something and take off again. She also tries to steel whatever Winston is eating!

I have slowly moved their salad out of their pen, So it is more like we are all having dinner together.

Here is the really crazy part – I have always believed that diner together is a very important. It is that time of day when you hang out, enjoy each others company and connect. I think the bunny’s are starting to think the same thing!

Or – I could just be projecting.
