Hi everyone! I bought a diffuser today. If you don’t know what it is, it’s basically a small pot like thing that you pour water and a couple drops of essential oil into it and it sprays the scented must into the air. I was just wonder if peppermint essential oil will bother Oakley in any way. It’s 100 percent pure peppermint oil. Thanks in advance

While I would use it sparingly, I doubt that peppermint would be a problem. I just bought Spike some fresh mint leaves to nibble as a garnish for his greens, so if mint in the raw is OK, I would think the oil extract would be safe in small doses.

Watch him for any sneezing or nose/face rubbing. If that happens, I would stop.

It should be fine, as long as you are careful with the ones you pick. (Like don’t pick Cedar essential oils)

I also saw this cool tutorial on Pinterest for air freshener/fabric freshener that was just water, essential oils and baking soda, so it’s perfectly human safe and pet safe (unlike store bought stuff)! I haven’t made any yet so I don’t know how it works, but here’s the link if you wanna check it out:
