Right now I’ve got PJ FunnyBunny. She is about 3 years old and I’ve had her since she was baby.

Here’s the problem: This weekend, I’m getting Honey FunnyBunny who is about 5 months old. As soon as I can get them bonded they’ll be living together. What will I feed them?

PJ needs timothy hay and pellets while Honey needs alfafa hay and pellets.

Any suggestions on how to feed them both corectly?

Since Honey Bunny is 5 months old she will be ready for timothy hay and pellets so I would start weaning her on those.

Yes you could feed them both timothy hay and pellets. Cute names!

            Is PJ spayed yet?

              Thanks for the help.

And, shame on me, PJ is not spayed. Where I live there are no exotic/rabbit vets. The only general practice that treats ‘exotics’ nearly killed one of my friends g-pigs. Also, there are no rabbit rescues. Just cats, dogs, and one horse rescue. I’m rescueing Honey from one of relatives who got her from a breeder for an Easter Bunny.

              Thanks again for the help!

Are you anywhere near Dallas? or Austin? or Houston?

I can get you some vets for those areas.

Houston is about 2 1/2 hours a way while Dallas and Austin are like 4-5 hours away. You could say that I live in the Boondocks

If you look under the vet list there on the website there are lists of vets in the Houston area.

They also list some prices for spays and neuters on some of the vets.

What part of Texas are you in? I live just north of Waco, a little town named West. (which explains why I don’t get most of my packages the first time they’re shipped)
