Now that Mumbles is reaching 5 months, should i consider taking alfalfa hay out of her diet? I usually give her 50/50 alfalfa and timothy. The alfalfa is almost gone and I was wondering if I should buy a different kind to replace it, or if I should wait another month or more.

If I should, which kind(s) would be good to try?

i think you could leave her how she is until about 7 months.

I was going to say around 6 or 7 months to take the alfalfa out of her diet. If you notice Mumbles starting to get a little chubby, you might want to wean it out sooner, but she is probably growing fast enough still that she can use all the calories.

What type of pellets are you giving her? Alfalfa or timothy? If you are giving her alfalfa no need for the timothy hay. If not, then maybe a few more months would be beneficial of the alfalfa.

Also if you have not had her spayed yet- I would wait until she is spayed (if you are going to do that soon) to change her diet too much.  Alfalfa hay is more appealing to bunnies and at her age it might be best to wait until she is recovered from her spay to make any major diet changes as long as she is eating the proper young bunny diet and doing well.   (Unless you are giving alfalfa pellets also- then Mumbles might be getting more than what she needs in her diet).

I looked at Cottons spay as a bit of her milestone for diet- I wanted to make sure she made it thru the spay and recovery before I started changing too much with her since she was doing great.

I’m not entirely sure what kind of pellets she has actually, I bought a large bag and put the pellets in a few larger resealable ones. All I know is that I got the pellets with the most amount of fiber. I do not think they are alfalfa pellets.
I won’t be getting her fixed until Christmas vacation. She won’t be old enough until I am back in school and I know I’ll be so stressed and want to be home with her as much as I can for her recovery.
Thank you everyone for your help! ^.^
