I dropped my rabbits bottle (I’ve always give her a bottle and bowl but she just tips the water out and uses the bottle instead.) so I went straight out and purchased her a new one. I came home and it was working all fine. I had to go to work and left her in her 3×4 metre play area for about 8 hours. When I came home the water was exactly where I left it and after close inspection no water was coming out. I’m so worried my poor baby is dehydrated, she’s just drunken half her body weight in water now (from a bowl which she has tipped over several times) I’m keeping a close eye on her but should I be worried about anything else? She had her dinner (helping of bok choy, coriander, basil and romaine lettuce) and always has heaps and heaps of hay around so I know she won’t be hungry. I feel so guilty for what’s happened and probably won’t sleep because of worrying about my baby :’( am I a horrible owner? Honestly feel like I’ve neglected her ???

If she has drunk since, I don’t think it will have any ill-effect on her. You noticed quickly and resolved the problem so don’t feel guilty.

What kind of water bowl does she have? My bunnies have heavy ceramic ones that they couldn’t tip over even if they wanted to, so its probably worth finding something she can’t tip over.

I think it’s fine, just make sure you watch her and that she isn’t getting lethargic or anything.

I actually just made a post about water drinking. I’ve noticed that one of my bunnies hardly drinks any water during the day, then he drinks nearly the whole bottle in one sitting in the middle of the night -.- he lives in my room so it wakes me up. He seems totally fine with not drinking much for most of the day and just drinking a bunch at night.
