I’m so thrilled that Freya has become far more social with us recently. We picked her up while watching a movie one night and put her on the couch with us to see what she’d do. She jumped off, which made her realize she can get on and off the couch. Then she realized she can get on the back of the couch, haha. Since we have one big room, we have it split into and office and living room by having the back of the desks against the back of the couch. If we’re both at our computers at the same time she sometimes comes up and hangs out on one of our desks with us. I think it’s the most adorable thing ever and just kinda gently try to keep her off my keyboard. I love that she wants to be with us that much. Other than mouse and speaker wires there’s nothing she can hurt herself with unless she eats a mousepad lol. We were on the couch tonight and she got on the computer and was on the keyboard, I got up to get her and she catipulted off it. If she jumps off something like that on purpose will she be ok. There was simply no possible way I could have stopped her. I swear she’s the Evel Knievel of bunnies. Should I have any special concerns?

Wow, she sounds so brave! My little guy won’t go more than 10ft from his cage … haha.

Sometimes it’s like watching a two-year old jump on the couch. You tell them no a hundred times and save them just as many. Still, your heart never ceases to skip a beat because this time they could really get hurt. I almost feel more protective of Freya then I did of my toddlers though. She doesn’t understand me when I tell her that if she doesn’t stop she’ll get hurt. I guess I also understand the risk less. I know when a toddler is at risk of bumps and bruises and it’s ok to let them learn from a boo-boo and when there is real danger of being actually hurt. I want to think that self-preservation and instinct will keep her from doing something that will hurt her but maybe that’s wishful thinking.

OH my the little daredevil Freya.

The other day Cotton jumped from top of his house to the top of the xpen to the printer on a high stool next to his pen.   I think he wanted attention.    He hasn’t done it since.

Ruby once she figured she could jump off n on something she kept doing it.   Her  prev owner told he she is funny that way.
