I was asked to post more pictures of the hutch my dad and I built for Dallas. Here it is.
Back in December I got really tired of trying to find some cage/pen setup that would work for me, and I didn’t have enough money to buy an x-pen, so I asked my dad if we could build Dallas(at the time I only had Dallas) an indoor hutch(he’s been in construction for about 30 years). We had a lot of scrap wood around and we just used that.

The hutch is 4ft long, 2ft wide and 3ft tall. The inside is split nearly in half, one section is a privacy area and the other side is open(using rabbit mesh to cover the sides so he can see what is going on around his area, and he can choose if he wants to hide or be seen. the privacy section has a door cut into the front side of it and it swings down/up..when it’s up, it locks with a simple sliding lock. when it’s down, it acts as a ramp so Dallas can go in and out as he pleases. half of the top of the hutch is a lid, and it swings upward to open. Then we faced the problem of how am I supposed to MOVE this thing?! lol. We solved that by putting 4 casters on the bottom of it, which raised it a few inches higher so it’s up off the ground and it rolls anywhere I want. It’s super easy to move. There could have been a few problems with this is if Dallas chewed the wood or pottied outside his litterbox. Luckily for me, Dallas doesn’t do either..ever.
Oh yeah, the blankets on the inside of the hutch are navajo horse saddle blankets. We have horses and we got the pads a long time ago, but never used them so I am using them for that now. They’ve worked out really well.

this is how it is set up. He can go in/out into his pen whenever he wants. I had to settle for using my dog crate panels..thankfully, he’s not a jumper. The inside is big enough to fit everything ne needs and still have lots of room.

        That’s all!

Thanks a lot DD! This is one cool habitat. I like the privacy of it and the coziness of wood. Great design, too, very practical. Thanks again, I will need a new set-up once my own rabbits’ bonding is completed — you have inspired me!
