Well, I let Daisy out a few times a day for as long as I can. Today I left her free while digging the car free of snow and went to the store. Daisy keeps jumping into the babies cage, I havn’t seen any violence, but the babies run n hide when they see her so she can’t get them. I’m sure that stresses them all out. Should I leave her in there? Or should I check for missing fur and separate them?

Well, she got in again and I found her snuggled up to Caramel, she’s the one who followed Daisy around the first day they got home.
Daisy follows me around the house, too cute!! Anyone else have a bundog? lol

Haha! Mine only follows me for food.
I would keep them separated. Since she seems interested in them I personally think so supervised time together in a pen would be good for getting them familiar with one another. How is she towards Fudge? The only thing is when the babies start to enter puberty things can change fast and the fur may fly. Even if she’s outside of their cage visiting, they can get nasty bites throught the cage bars.

It would be great if the all could be in together, but the best way for that to be long term is they are bonded after they are adults. I don’t recall the sex of the babies? If all are female, they can be bonded in the future but unspayed females together is risky.

If you feel she is stressing them out, try keep her away. Rabbits can become ill fast when stressed.

Was cleaning the cages and the babies were out free in the room, let out Daisy and gave her food. Babies came over and ate out of her bowl, in her cage with little problem. ^.^

                  All are female, not fixed.
How do you walk a rabbit on a harness…?? Do you have to practice like with dogs so they get used to the idea or what?

I’m not entirely sure of your set up, but unfixed rabbits especially females should not be together (females are the more territorial sex) they could fight -and it could be bad.
Also-even if a vet sexed them for you-you can have a false positive female-which could mean you end up with babies. Not good.

You know what, someone I really liked and respected, who shows and trains rabbits-and knew what she was doing, just had a rabbit die in a harness by breaking his back. They should not make them and I’d really advise you not to use one.

Took Daisy out in a diy harness in the snow, she loved it. Started eating snow and hoping around, didn’t even bother with the stuff on her. She pulled me this way and that way, like a puppy, she was so happy on the snow, lol. But now it’s all mud and icky out, so we cant take her out again.

I know a few members do use harnesses, (I used to as well  but I now agree with KK)  so you do have to be very careful.  Since you have chosen to use a harness – just check these previous discussions about them so you can be fully prepared and know what to watch for so they can continue to have fun in the safest way possible while using the harness.

Daisy doesn’t mind the harness unless I am standing in front of her and then pull on the leash. Sooo, I don’t do that, I keep the leash above her and behind so she pulls me and if I’m not fast enough, I think she gives me pissed off looks! Lol.

Ah….the bunny stink eye.  That could be the most dangerous thing of all.
