Ugh. I thought I had a huge thing of lettuce in there for Koji. I went to give him some tonight and some of it was wilty, and had gotten even a lot of the good looking bits wet. I picked a few leaves off the top, rinsed them, fed, and tossed the rest. I *just* went to the grocery today and thought about picking up more but thought I had enough for 2 days and I usually go to the grocery every 2 days, so…. I guess the raddichio goes bad before the spinach and romaine. Blerg.

Fed those leaves and a small bell pepper from the garden. The only other things I had are tomato (I know high in sugar so I only give as treats, that’s a shame because he loves them and I have a truckload coming off my 5 plants right now haha) and half a cucumber. I eyeballed the cucumber for tonight, but didn’t see it on HRS list of veggies. Anyone feed cucumber? Is it okay to feed? He’s had enough tonight that he shouldn’t be thumping and glaring, and obviously now I have to make a trip tomorrow, I was just curious. I happen to love cucumber so if he can share it that would be good to know.

Cucumber is fine just take out the seeds. Tomatoes are perfectly fine too just take out those seeds as well.

Ok thanks Sarita – good to know as I hadn’t been intentionally taking out the seeds on the tomatoes, but I don’t like the runny insides so usually when chopping toss that bit anyhow.

Now if I could just figure out why Koji will pee in the Feline Pine we switched to but not poop in it. Haha. It never ends….
