        Hi,

Do any of you feed Oxbow’s Critter Berries as a treat for your buns?  I saw it on their website, and wasn’t sure if it would be ok or not.  I like giving the Papaya Tablets as a treat, because they are pretty healthy.  Any thoughts on the Critter Berries?  I posted the description from their website below.  Thanks!

“A healthy treat your pet will love and you will delight in giving. Critter Berries with Cranberry contain a blend of grasses, herbs and cranberry extract. A special blend of ingredients makes Critter Berries with Cranberry a tasty, fun, and healthy treat for your pet.

A beneficial blend of grasses, herbs and cranberry with an enticing natural flavor your pet will savor. Critter Berries with Cranberry has been personally taste-tested by pet rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and prairie dogs across the country.

Rabbits, guinea pigs and other small pets have special dietary needs and require a treat that is both healthy and nutritious. Give your pet the very best by offering them convenient, economical and nutritionally well-balanced Critter Berries with Cranberry.”

Yes they are fine as a once in awhile treat. Binky Bunny sells them here.

Yes, those treats are fine – my rabbits don’t like them though but many rabbits do.

Edson ADORES them. He grabs them from a basket I store bunny stuff in and carries them off to his cage. He throws them around until I cave and give him one. Very funny.

I use Oxbow Timothy and my buns love it! It’s pricey depending on where you live. I pay around $9.00 a bag. If you order it online, you’ll pay almost double in shipping.

All our timothy up here is either the King brand or Kaytee. I haven’t tried Oxbow myself.
Mimzy loves the Critter Berries. I give them as treat when he returns to his hutch at night, he hangs from the bars like a poor forgotten waif to try and get more from me.

Oh yes, Critter Berries, my two ADORE them! I got them from Binky Bunny as well.
