I purchase a week ago a cottontail cottage for my rabbit sunshine. She doesn’t seem very interested in it. My question is I was wondering how I could make it more interesting to her? thanks

It took Samson a while to like it, I usually sneak treats in or tasty oat hay

Is she going onto the upper levels?

It took mine quite a while to use it. He still does only once in a while. When he does show an interest, I have started to put just a few pellets on the upper levels. This gets him more interested in exploring the cottage and sometimes he will go up even when there are no treats.

Maybe try encouraging with treats or setting him in the 2nd level? My bunnies took a little bit to get used to it but now I find them there all the time, it has been their favorite anything (besides food)

I fed my bunnies their pellets in their cottontail cottage and they now are in it ALL THE TIME! I think I may need to get a new one soon.

I feed Tait his pellets in the cottage as well and I put a fleece blanket on the third level and now he flops out up there for hours, I think he feels more secure up there, versus the floor, when I’m moving around. This morning he was flopped out and I knocked a big book off my desk. It scared him so bad he rolled the wrong way and fell down haha it was pretty funny, he poked his head back up like “You didn’t just see that”.

I find a rabbit’s disinterest in something is directly related to how badly I want them to be interested in that thing.
