Oh boy the cage came. IT is a good size too. I set it up. I made a shelf for him to hide under or lie on top of. I put his other cage in the bathroom. Cotton tries to go to the bathroom to find his old home. Poor guy.
I think he will like it better should be more comfy to sleep in.
I went for a long walk when I came back there it was. Cool. The door things are kind of difficult. Otherwise it is great.

Yes, I don’t like those fasteners for the doors.
They wiggle loose and I expect one day I’ll come in to find Fiver nomming all my stuffies on my bed! 0_o How did you make the shelf, BT? I need to set one up for Fiver. You’d think these Marchioro cages would have their own shelves that one could order from the company? I notice the Superpet ones don’t stretch long enough to work with it.
Heeheee…poor Cotton…relegated to the loo! I hope he likes his new home. I want to get something nicer and bigger for Pip, since she’s chewing hers all up, but I figure I’ll wit till the bonding is over and maybe have the hubby put together something like BunnyLiz’s setup for Hammer.

ok I will take some pics.
The shelf…. I found a big plastic storage container being thrown out. I took it home heated a knife on the stove and cut off the bottom to make a cage bottom for Ruby. The knife cools so I had to put it back on the burner a couple of times. It is too hard to cut unless the knife is heated.
I kept the leftover plastic sides from that container. When Cotton’s cage came I measured it and marked the cutting places.
Back to heating the knife a couple of times to cut it right. Then to put some holes in it to put those big sized tie wraps to hold it to the cage.
Warning leave the door open if you are going to do this. It is a bit smelly. But it goes away quickly.
