Cotton is such a brat

So everynite we do our taraweah prayer. With reading 1/30 of the quran with it.  Takes a while  1 1/2 hours about.

So there I am lying there when it is normally Cottons petting time.  He is like a little kid trying to get mummy’s attention.

He would come smell my eye for a while.  jump on me.  Jump off.  He actually let me pet him a little bit.  He doesn’t like to lie on the floor next to me for pets so that doesn’t last long.

Then he does binky’s looking at me to say something to him and get excited like I usually do.  No go Cannot talk during prayer  and not supposed to be distracted either.   Well hard not to with Cotton jumping about.

When that doesn’t get anything but a quiet kissy from me he goes over to chew very noisily on his cardboard box.

 

HE reminds me so much of my son.  When he was 2 or 3 and I was on the phone he would do everything he could get away with lol.  Bunnies and pets are so much like children sometimes.

Don’t get me started… my dogs when I’m on the phone act like they have turned into little puppies again. Anything is fair game, so now I crate them when I am on the phone for a longer time. It can be distracting, you know, dogs barking, running around with my bf’s brand-new sneakers… i wouldn’t have it any more!

OH my goodness those dogs are some brats   lol.   OH pets what would we do without them.

I’m reminded of the scene in Animal House where John Belushi was trying to cheer up Flounder after they’d wrecked his car. He just silently kept doing these antics with beer cans to get him to smile.
