Hi, does anyone live in CT and know a very experinced vet who can perform a neuter/spay? The one place that has a very experinced doctor just quoted me 500-800 for just a neuter (higher end being if the bun needs to stay over night and the lady on the phone did say they will not let the bun home unless it is eating)

the spay would be 800-1000 (that was really surprising to me)

so does anyone have suggestions? TIA!

Edit: I am willing to pay a higher price if it means I am paying for more experience and skills. My rabbit has a retained testicle and weighs 2.7lbs so I am extremely worried about anesthesia.

Do you have a shelter there that adopts out rabbits? You could ask them what vet they use.
