          YES!!!

Sorry but yes, Corn can cause obstructions and big issues. Pelleted paper or wood is good-yesterdays news, carefresh, wood stove pellets etc.

But corn is no good Its frustrating because rabbits’ are listed on the list of animals its for-you have to be careful as things are marketed for us to buy-not for the rabbit’s safety and longevity Just toss it or use it as gravel on your sidewalk or driveway-so it doesn’t go to waste

I would definately take it away from her A.S.A.P  I am also wondering if you have a feed store near by where you can get some pelleted pine horse bedding?  It’s cheap and would be a nice alternative if you don’t have a pet store near by and can’t get a hold of the other alternatives K & K listed.

Here is more info on litter:

I triple ditto this! Unfortunately I knew someone who had corn based litter for over a year, and her bunny kept having serious ongoing impaction problems. Since a necropacy wasn’t done, there was no way to know if her bunny’s final battle with serious impaction was due to the corn based litter or not, but the bunny had tests done while alive and fighting the digestive problems, and no other health problems had shown up. But within the rabbit community, there seems to be many reports of this regarding corn based litter, and there are warnings about it from the House Rabbit Society. .
