  I’ve got a Netherlands Dwarf and she sometimes makes little “coo coo” sounds when she’s relaxing she’s spayed but even before she made the sound. She doesn’t sound or look in distress and I saw they there was a post about this from 2007 but unfortunately the link in the post to hear the sound was for aol so I can’t listen to the sound to try to see if they match. I’ve been looking everywhere and all I come up with is she’s happy or is just making the sound they make when they have babies nursing.
  
  Anywho, if anyone can find that sound I’d be super grateful ☺.
  
  Oh! And she’s eating and pooping and all that fun stuff if that helps.

  I don’t have a recording of the sound and it’d be very laborious to obtain, but if all is healthy with your rabbit (no lung or breathing problems), this is both cute and in my experience normal. Wick will coo/make audible breathing coos when I’m petting him to sleep. It usually is preceded by him stretching out and letting out an initial few coos to begin the coo fest.
  
  If it means anything, Wick is also a Netherland dwarf.

  Aw man I always wished Rain would make some cute noise with his little voice instead of honking and grunting. He’s going to be neutered soon luckily. Rain’s also a Netherland Dwarf btw. I think it’s just a sign that your bunny’s happy and living the good life. Which is the best thing to know!
