OH gee. Today I redid the girls area and cotton came to watch.  When I got done I gave cotton his greens and his papaya tablet. He only ate 1 of them. Usually he goes crazy and I cannot remove my hand til he has eaten both. I also gave him a vegie heart treat and he refused that too.

I am getting worried about him. He did poop as I was redoing the girls are so I know he is pooping. He peed in his litterboxes today too. I picked him up put him on his back to rub his tummy but he got upset. So I held him and rubbed his tummy. I wonder if I should give him some petromalt cuz he is doing a light shed. Or should I give him simethicone?

I dont’ know what to do. HE ate some hay today and willow too. This morning almost all his pellets were gone as usual and he had drank some water.

Well I am going to stick some petromalt on  his little foot he will eat it when he cleans it off.   The vets is closed tomorrow. She is open mon-sat however I did not realize that there was a problem til tonite.

        HELP!!!

Put your ear up to his tummy and just wait a about 10 seconds. Do you hear any gurgling? There should be some light gurgling all the time.

Exercise can also help sometimes so give him something to get curious and active about – like a cardboard box.

It sounds l like he is eating and drinking so that is a good sign. How do his poops look?

It sounds like you have everything on hand should this turn out to be a health issue. Maybe you can ring your vet or another that knows bunnies just to run your concerns past them.

Do you think he might just be put out about the changes you made to the othe buns area. They can be very territorial (even thou it wasn’t his area!) If he’s eating and pooping, things seem good….Sounds like he’s giving you some attitude to me but I don’t want to say that is for sure! I know I use treats to win favour back with Jersey after I’ve trimmed her nails etc. She keeps her distance and I have to put treat in front of her and leave because there’s no way she’ll concede and eat from my hand after I’ve just put her thru that!!!

I really think Cotton sounds ok but please ring and talk to a vet if it will put your mind at ease.

I think a little petromalt on his paw is a good idea. Did he eat it? How is he today?
You said he’s been giving you foot flicks the last few days, so with Cotton it could be about the girls. BB’s advice is the best, so let us know if that doesn’t do the trick. Maybe you could leave a message on your vet’s machine asking her to call you first thing tomorrow morning. If he takes a turn for the worse today, might need emergency, but it doubt it.

hmmm Well this morning I see he ate everything and I mean everything but the pellets. The petromalt was gone from his paw too so he must have licked it off. He was giving me foot flicks last nite too. Probably just an attitude. Phew. I was really worried. I had put the girls in the carrier while I redid their area. Maybe he thought they left the house for good and was upset.

This morning I let him go see that they are still here. I am doing a thorough cleaning this morning too so when things are back in place he should be fine. I hope he continues to eat good and drink too.

He seems active this morning. When I get done with the cleaning he may run and binky. He has been doing that lately except for yesterday.

Oh buns they sure can worry  us can’t they.

Well, it sounds like you are right on top of any behaviorial changes, so that’s good. They sure can worry us! I’m glad that it seems everything is okay so far, but just keep an eye on him and his poops.

Good for you though for keeping an eye out for subtle changes. That is really important.
