  Here are my two bunnies.
  Anyone know what breed they might be? On another forum they said Dasher might be a netherlands dwarf but they aren’t sure about Comet.
  
  Dasher = gray/white
  Comet = brown
  
  My dad/step-mom got them for me for christmas 2 years ago as a surprise – from a breeder. I said I wanted to rescue bunnies but they didn’t really listen and got them instead… I still love them though!
  
  Soon I will be getting 2 more bunnies, from a rabbit rescue I volunteer at every week. (They won’t be bonded with my current bunnies though.)
  
  Anyway, back to Comet/Dasher…

  They look Netherland Dwarf….not sure…They are adorable though!! Great set up too!!!

  Yes, they look Netherlands to me also…at least the little grey/white does. The other, I am not sure. He reminds me of a bunny that another member here has named Olivia (the bunny, not the user), but I don’t know the breed on that one either.

  Hi and Welcome! What Sweeties! Maybe if you contact the breeder your parents got them from they should be able to help. I would have thought the breed would be on the sale receipt. Great names – will you give the 2 newbies reindeer names aswell?

  I will definitely ask my parents if they still have the receipt or anything from the bunnies.
  I don’t think the breeder was a very good breeder anyway.. because they told my parents they were neutered males, which cost more than females – later, after thinking they were males the whole time, we took them to the vet and they said they were spayed females…
  
  Gender doesn’t matter either way, though. I just love my bunnies.
  
  Anyway..
  
  No, we aren’t naming the new ones reindeer names, because they already have names at the rescue that I like. We only named Comet and Dasher that because we got them on christmas, lol.

  Comet looks like my cinnamon colored polish dwarf! Body and head wise.
  
  However, many people tell me she is a mutt =]

  I just googled polish dwarf rabbit and Comet definitely may be one! Wow!

  Welcome to Binkybunny!! Cute bunnies-the gray definitely looks a bit like a netherland dwarf, and not sure about comet’s breed. Very cute though!

  haha, the first time I saw them was christmas morning so we were just like ‘let’s name them reindeer names!’
  So yep, pretty much it was just getting caught up in the x-mas spirit like you said, Lol!
