Well, Boo and Walter are officially twins.

Boo’s smokey ears are now pure white.  Only their eyes are different.

Walter’s spay is scheduled for the 4th, hope all goes well.

Would this indicate she is younger than the shelter thought?

Hmmm I dont know, wonder if it could be seasonal? Myra’s markings get lighter in the summer and dark again in the winter.

Maybe. Or, as Dana said, it could be temperature-dependent color. I guess you’ll have to wait to see if his ears get darker after it’s been cold for awhile.

Depending on what’s going on with parent genes, rabbits of the same litter can have very different colors. I don’t know if this is correct or not, but I have heard that this is all from the same litter or there’s a shared parent between these rabbits:

It is correct I got my rabbit and her littermates were plain white, plain brown, plain grey, and she is white brown, grey, and orange. Also, my rabbit’s tail changes color when she molts.
