Bunnies can start at any age! The site clickerbunny.com is a great resource.

I trained Otto to do a few tricks, but I haven’t trained much since we got Hannah because two at once is just about impossible.

Just keep the basics in mind – the click means a reward is coming, so you must always treat after clicking. Even if you click accidentally or have bad timing, it will even out in the end, but if you click and don’t treat, you’ll mess up the purpose of the communication.

Ive been working on clicker training with my two for a short time and theyve picked up quite a few tricks.  I actually use their pellets when doing it and just cut back on the amount they get for breakfast, this could actually work fairly well for you too since your bunny is still only 7 weeks.

Keep in mind that you do not have to use a clicker. The clicker is simply the reward marker.

You can use a pushtop pen, click of the tongue, “GOOD BUNNY!”, or even a flashlight! It just has to be ‘different’ from any regular household or outdoor sounds.

For two bunnies, the best way to start is individually. It’s more or less impossible for them to really learn what you’re trying to teach if they’re both doing it at a the same time – for example, they won’t really learn what the clicker means. That’s not to say that you can’t teach two bunnies to do simple tricks at the same time, but to really get the effects of clicker training and teach something more complicated than “come” or “up” you need to get them by themselves.
