MrBun usually listens very well. 90% of the time a sharp “no bun!” will work with him. Daisy- not so much. I feel like I could drop a bomb and she would still act like she never heard it. I have to physically move her away. this is mostly for chewing- sometimes moving things they aren’t supposed to. normally if bun is chewing in the baseboard of something he isn’t supposed to I can tell him no from across the room and he will stop. I’m trying to figure out if there’s a way I can get daisy to the same point. I’ve seen some things on clicker training for rabbits but also heard it may be too harsh of a noise for them. the only thing that works for daisy (and only works half the time) is spraying her with water. then of course you end up with a wet floor and walls and since it usually takes 2 or 3 sprays I have a wet bun. of course I worry about it getting in her ears and eyes which I try to avoid but am not the best marksman. and usually I make her go back into her house if she’s wet so she doesn’t sit in front of the fan and catch a cold.
any suggestions for my destructo bun? I have see the card board against the walls but I’m looking more for her to learn a STOP command like bun has. and goodness if they’re in their house and the doors are shut it takes repeated banging on the door and usually we have to open it up and pull her away from whatever she is doing. she has plenty of chewies but of course her (and bun’s) bed and other things are more appetizing
