I got the rabbits a gift for Christmas and I was thinking of wrapping it for them. One of them in particular loves to shred paper and we give him old newspaper and phonebooks to play with. He doesn’t eat it or anything, I think he just likes to hear that ripping sound. Anyway, I was hoping he would enjoy opening his gift. Has anyone else ever done this? We wrap our dog’s gift each year because she LOVES ripping it open. But I wasn’t sure if the rabbits would be as enthusiastic about it.

He will love opening it, as long as you use the brown paper and not the fancy glossy printed stuff. What are you getting your bunny for xmas?

It’s just a toy. I got each of them a willow ball, they really like to play with them.

Well, the little turd hopped right up the package I wrapped, chinned it, and then hopped away. Oh well..

If he chinned it, he knows it’s his and he’s saving it for later, like today. Still unwrapped?

It is still sitting on the floor, still wrapped. Both rabbits have seen their respective packages, but neither seemed all that interested in opening it.

Okay, never mind! I just checked on the one bun who was out for play time. The package had mysteriously moved halfway across the room and the one end was ripped open, exposing what was inside.

Well, I should have known they never would have done anything with me in the room.
