I “borrowed” this idea from a toy for sale on one of the bun sites.

I took a red jingle bell ball that I bought from a wholesale warehouse and tied untreated jute thru the top where you would place something to hang it. If you untwist the jute it looks like your bell has hair. It gives your bun a great toy to pick up and throw.

I will post a photo later.

I bought my jute from a place called The Flower Factory- a wholesaler that is local. BUT i do know that you can at least get Sisal that is bun safe from hardware stores. I found that True Value Hardware stores carry the sisal for sure. I found around here it is $2.40 for 50ft of it. From what I found online you can buy Jute from any craft supply store.

Very cool and very festive! I’m going to have to find me one of those bells now.

I found the bells at a local wholesale store that seems to only be in my area for right now. It is just a “normal” size jingle bell so it should be fairly easy to find.

I did some hunting this week/weekend. I found that the sisal comes in all different widths and can be found pretty much anywhere that has a hardware isle (like walmart). Or any store with boating stuff since that seems to be the typical use for it.
The sisal I bought was 100ft medium width for $5. But it is fairly thick so I can actually break it down into thinner strands easily and it stays together.
The fabric store only had Jute and Hemp but no sisal.
