I know I have a million questions.  But my bunny also I have not found yet will chew on anything except hay.  No cardboard, no wood chews, no boxes no phone books.  I am concerned about not chewing enough to wear his teeth down.  Is this unusual.

All he needs to chew on is hay.

My rabbit is the same way. I would continue to offer some things for him, cardboard and bits of wood, in case the urge should strike him. But it’s been one month here and so far he has not touched any of it. He recently went to the vet and the vet said his teeth are textbook perfect, so I assume he’s never been a chewer, and hay has been fine to keep his teeth in good condition. In fact, the vet said he could see he was eating plenty of hay because there was still some stuck in his molars! Come to think of it, I do think he eats more hay than it sounds like other people’s rabbits eat (at least according to a thread on here a while back about how much hay your buns eat), maybe non-chewers will compensate by doing that.

Well, blocks, cardboard, etc…are usually only good for boredom. In order for a rabbit who has perfectly aligned teeth to keep them “filed” down they only need hay. The other things won’t help their molars as far as keeping them healthy.

Ditto sarita. Other stuff is for play and for something to do. They NEED hay above and beyond all else.

AND in general if they don’t chew things (which is natural) it MAY point to them having a tooth problem already. Especially if they aren’t eating hay. Does your bunny eat his hay at least?
