        Hi everyone!

I’m wondering if any of you guys have chew toy recommendations/favorites. My bunny’s favorites are willow balls/sticks, but I’m looking for some additional toys, (DIY/purchasable), that he may be interested in. While I don’t mind repurchasing willow balls/sticks, I’d like to find others he may like, too. Thanks guys!

          Apple sticks are pretty popular!

My bun absolutely loves it when I make a little box with a cardboard tube and stuff a treat inside.  I linked the youtube video I found it on below.

Apparently the link doesn’t work so just use the url.  Sorry about that.

I apologize for the two week delay in response guys!

kurottabun: Ooh, thanks! I always forget about those.
bear_the_bunny: I usually stuff hay inside cardboard tubes, but I never thought about treats. Thanks! Don’t worry about the linking not working. It’s okay.

Paper bags stuffed with hay and forage is a great one!

Lilikoi usually doesn’t chew on most of the toys I give her. The one she absolutely enjoys is the binky bunny balsa blocks. I think any rabbit would go crazy for the blocks, you can order them on the shop here. I don’t know if any other site has blocks quite like these. However, if you decide to order them you should probably order at least 2 or 3 batches, as my rabbit almost finished all of them in 1 sitting, and it also only comes with 3 blocks. There are a lot of other great toys out there, but mainly the flavored ones like apple sticks and the balsa blocks win their hearts.

My bunny, Momo, really likes the loofa texture for chew toys. She also enjoys destroying pinecones (she chews it until it falls apart but doesn’t eat them; it’s very messy).

Lilikoi: I just looked at the balsa blocks here. I can definitely see the appeal. Do you usually just leave the blocks as a single or tie them together, similar to the model on the store? Sometimes, I do forget about the BB store, so thank you!
Domma: I’ve seen loofah-textured toys before, but I’m always worried my bunny will just devour them, instead of simply chewing. Does your bun eat loofah or just chew? I’ve never thought of pinecones for some reason. Thanks!!

I just ordered those blocks and a few other items from the B.B. store for my bun for Christmas presents!!!
I went to KCMO a while back, and the grocery uses paper sacks with paper handles so I kept the bags. I took one with me to gather pine cones. I laid it down and laid a few cones at the edge. My bun has been busy with the cones & last night she got inside the bag several times to forage the cones left inside!

@babblingbuns: She hansn’t ingested any of it just crunches and tosses it throughout the night, but I haven’t had any troubles with it being excessively messy either.

It might just be a Momo thing, but my bunny isn’t interested in small toys. She likes big things that she can still toss or at least nudge around.

My daughter said that they tear them apart to get to the pine nuts. Can’t say that they do, or not. Maybe they know that they are there & it’s worth a try?
Reminds me that I need to go see if there are any left from where I found the last bag full. She is down to less than 10! And she does love them.

Awfully late response again, (I’m sorry), but I’ve been a little busy.

Coco: Oh, I’ve never considered a foraging aspect with the pinecones. I was just going to place them down. I’ll definitely give it go. Thank you!

Domma: Knowing that your bunny doesn’t eat loofah, I may give it another try with mine. Thanks! Oh, and aw! Your bun looks so comfy and content!

Thank you all for the suggestions and ideas! You’ve all been very helpful.

Love your profile pic babblingbuns! My sister gave me a set of 4 untreated rattan plate holders, the type you use for paper plates on picnics. I use one to serve Foo Foos veggies on. I stack the other 3 and place some of her toys on top. She has chewed apart part of the one plates. I guess when it’s empty of veggies it’s just fun to try to destroy the plate!
